Rappaccini’s Daughter, a musical tale“–Libretto by Linsey Abrams and Music by Michael Cohen–will be performed at the Theater for the New City (1st Ave and 10th St), Thurs-Sat evenings and Sunday matinee, the last 3 weeks of September. Go to RAPPACCINI’S DAUGHTER on the menu above to hear a lovers’ duet. The newly-minted one-act opera, from the story by Nathaniel Hawthorne, will be presented on a bill with the late Seymour Barab’s short comic opera based on the Feydeau farce Out the Window.
